Jerry Seinfeld’s hug-snub on Kesha a few months back will go down as one of 2017’s cringiest moments, and while Kesha’s hoping to move past it as she flies high on the comeback trail, a mural in Australia has seen to it that we don’t soon forget the incident.

And, in true Seinfeld fashion, the snubber himself has gone and visited the thing. Shared on Twitter today, this is Jerry Seinfeld and his manager, George Shapiro, HUGGING in front of the mural.

Slow clap for Jerry on this one.

As for the hug itself, Jerry told Extra that he doesn’t hug “total strangers.”

“I have to meet someone, say hello. I got to start somewhere,” said Seinfeld. “Hug isn’t first moment of a human, two humans. I never did that.”

A huge Seinfeld fan, Kesha later admitted that she should have known better. “I used to carry the whole season package with me everywhere on my carry-on. Like DVDs.” said Kesha. “That’s why I wanted a hug so hard.” She admitted that the experience felt like she was in her very own “mini-episode” of Seinfeld, and that the experience made her feel like she was 5 years old.
