Pusha T is convinced that Drake is behind the brawl at his Toronto show

As he returned to the stage, Pusha claimed the flurry of audience members throwing drinks and rushing the stage were hired by Drake.

Though the burgeoning beef between Pusha-T and Drake promised by diss tracks such as  “The Story of Adidon” appeared to go cold in the summer heat, their rivalry returned last night during a Pusha-T show in Toronto, in an unfortunately dangerous manner.

Reports indicate that in the middle of the rapper’s performance at the Danforth Music Hall, a flurry of drinks thrown by audience members hit the stage before a number of people in the crowd rushed it, inciting a brawl. Push managed to run offstage just as the chaos erupted, returning after things had settled down to resume the show. Before launching into his Drake diss “Infrared”, the song that’s also ground zero for their beef, Pusha accused the brawlers of having been hired by Drake, announcing “This n*gg* paid some n*gg*s to throw beer”:

The ripples of the incident seem to concern more than just a reignited rap beef, however—the violence that ensued in the chaos landed three concertgoers in the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

TMZ also claim law enforcement sources informed them of another man who, after the concert, was rushed to the hospital after incurring life-threatening stab wounds and has been in surgery since last night, though it is unconfirmed if the injuries occurred as a part of the brawl or a separate incident.

The details of the event, or at least the origins of it, still remain muddled as the investigation is ongoing, no arrests have been made, and thus it remains unclear if the attackers were, as Pusha claims, hired goons, or just incessant Drake fans. Despite Pusha’s claims and his turbulent history with the Toronto rapper, some remain doubtful:

Drake’s representatives have yet to issue a statement on the matter.
