Starbucks is sorry Kelly Osbourne peed her pants

Kelly Osbourne isn't happy with Starbucks after unleashing her own Blizzard of Ozz.

June 27, 2017

Most of us, if we accidentally peed ourselves in public, would probably keep that fact to ourselves, rather than immediately use social media to tell our approximately 4.01 million followers. Even then, we probably wouldn’t attempt to coin our own hashtag, #PissedMyOwnPants. Then again, most of us aren’t Kelly Osbourne.

Yep, the 32-year-old Ozzpring was allegedly barred from entering a Starbucks washroom while attending a Pride event in New York City on Sunday, and as a result gave herself quite the Teavana® Shaken Iced Tea Lemonade, if you know what we mean. Now, pop quiz: if you’re responsible for Starbucks PR, how do you handle the above? Is it:

A) Respond with a pithy “at least it was a Teavana® Shaken Iced Tea Lemonade and not a mocha cappuccino, if you know what we mean!”

B) Stay quiet and hope the whole thing goes away on its own

C) Sincerely apologize and pledge to do better in the future

Yep, it’s the least fun option, C:

“We are working to follow up with Ms. Osbourne to clarify any confusion,” a Starbucks spokesperson said in response to Kelly’s tweet. “There simply is no restroom in this store, and inquiring customers are typically directed to a store a few blocks away. We sincerely apologize for any misunderstanding and hope to welcome Ms. Osbourne back for a beverage on us very soon!”

Online followers of Kelly Osbourne, who, I’m contractually obligated to remind you, is a 32-year-old woman, were split in their reaction to the singer’s actions:

Ok, maybe they weren’t so split. Anyway, I hope Kelly enjoys the free Teavana® Shaken Iced Tea Lemonades she’s sure to get out of this whole thing.
