In her own words, Canadian artist Sate (formerly Saidah Baba Talibah) is “sweaty, greasy, dirty, funky, soulful dirty, greasy, rock n’ roll.” It’s the kind of saying we either want on our pillowcase or tattooed on the side of our arm so we can remember to live by it: Every. Single. Day. There’s nothing we love more than an artist that’s willing to go to great lengths to stay true to their work, and that’s exactly what we got with Sate when she took us along for the European leg of her tour.

We spent a couple days with Sate when she was in France and she did an excellent job of packing us into her back pocket for the ride. Ever been swimming on the coasts of Corsica? Sate made us feel like we had the sand between our toes. Love Cage the Elephant? Sate gave us an exclusive look from their show in PARIS.  Yeah, you’ll definitely want to check it out.
