PREMIERE: Watch Spencer Burton perform “Gone With You” for Pinball Sessions

July 18, 2014

From Marriage to their various solo works, we’ve never made a secret of our love for Attack in Black, and Spencer Burton’s Don’t Let The World See Your Love is next on the docket.

You can see, then, why we’re absolutely giddy to premiere the latest Pinball Sessions video which features Burton running through “Gone With You,” a new song off his upcoming solo album. Not only does the clip give us a strong taste of what to expect, but Burton’s longing gaze does a pretty great job at capturing his unique sense of humour.

“I looked directly into the camera to make people feel as uncomfortable as they would were they at one of my live shows, that and I’ve been practicing hypnotism through eye contact,” he told AUX. “If it works via the internet it’s sure to work in real life.

“Now tell me all of your darkest secrets, and deliver the contents of your jewelry box directly to my front door.”

Set for release through Dine Alone this September, the album is Burton’s first under his own name, ditching the Grey Kingdom moniker for what promises to be the next big step in his already impressive career. Check out his full Pinball Session here, and look for Don’t Let The World See Your Love on September 16th.
